  • California Family Code: The law is composed to two parts: statutes and case law. Statutes are the laws that are written by the legislature and signed by the governor. This link will take you to the statutes that relate to families, marriage, divorce, property, children, and so forth.

  • Difficult Conversations: How to Discuss what Matters Most by Douglas Stone, Bruce Patton, Sheila Heen.  This book teaches how to handle difficult conversations more effectively and with less anxiety.
  • Nonviolent Communications by Marshall B. Rosenberg. Learning how to communicate effectively can transform your relationships. Bay-NVC teaches the NonViolent Communication model developed by Marshall Rosenberg. Taking the War Out of Our Words: The Art of Powerful Non-Defensive Communication by Sharon Ellison.   • Getting To Yes - Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In by Roger Fisher, William L. Ury.  This is a classic book about how to negotiate.
